Application Process

We’re now accepting nominations and applications for 2026!

  • Get Nominated by a Partner Organization

    Due Date: November 15, 2025

    Anaya Scholars conduct outreach and personally invite Partner Organizations, both new and returning, to submit nominations during the fall. Our Partner Organizations for 2025-2026 is listed below. If your organization is not listed and you are interested in learning more about the program and submitting nominations, please contact us at aiden@anayascholars.org. If you are a student interested in applying but your organization is not listed, please contact someone at your school and have them reach out to us directly.

  • Nominated students must submit an application form.

    Due Date: January 30, 2026

    Once a student has been nominated, they will be notified via email. The application is a chance for applicants to share more about themself, their achievements, and why they want to be an Anaya Scholar. They will need a copy of their high school transcript to complete the application.

    In addition, we require two recommendations, one from a teacher and one from an individual who can attest to the applicant’s community service work, such as a counselor or a community leader (they can not be a family member or friend). Applicants will need to provide the contact information for their recommenders on the application, and are required to inform them before submitting the application to ensure recommenders have ample time to submit the Recommendation Form in Step 3.

  • Two recommenders submit recommendations

    Due Date: February 15, 2026

    Applicants identify these individuals in their application and are required to proactively inform them to give them ample time to submit the Recommendation Form below.

  • Anticipated Date: April 2026

    Once applications and recommendations are submitted and reviewed, applicants may be invited to an interview with the Anaya Scholars team. Applicants will receive an update email in March, and be notified of the admissions decision in May.
