Mentor's Corner: March 2026
Happy Spring! We hope you can enjoy the warm weather and all that is spring.
We have a few updates to share, along with some recommendations to support your work with scholars. With everything happening in the news, this may be a stressful time for both you and your scholar. We encourage you to check in on how current events may be impacting them and their families —creating space for conversation can be meaningful, and campus resources may also be helpful.
As the semester continues, scholars are wrapping up midterms and spring break. This is also a great time to support them in updating their LinkedIn profiles and resumes to reflect their academic work, internships, and extracurriculars from this year. Your encouragement and feedback can go a long way. Here is the resume template that we share with scholars.
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any support.
Warmly,
Mentorship Team
Scholarships for Scholars

Partnering with Samaritans
We’re excited to share a new partnership between Anaya Scholars and Samaritans, a Boston-based nonprofit providing mental health and suicide prevention support across Massachusetts. Through this collaboration, Samaritans will work with our organization to provide educational workshops to help us navigate our scholars' mental health challenges during the college journey.
Because our mentors go above and beyond in supporting scholars, we want to ensure you feel equipped with the right tools and knowledge. In the beginning of the summer, Samaritans will lead our first mental health workshop, designed specifically to support both our scholars and the mentors who walk alongside them.
